The
congregational prayer is a suitable feast to treat both deceased and the living
people. It was held in the sacred Quds
in the leadership of the Prophet (Peace and Blessing of Allah be upon him). He (Peace
and Blessing of Allah be upon him) had prayer and fast even before it were
being made mandatory. When Prophet Isa (Blessing of Allah be upon him) farced
to introduce himself to the people from his cradle, he said, Allah has enjoined
on me Salah (Prayer) and Zakath as long as I live. The Almighty Allah ordered theProphet
Ibrahim (A) to clean his house for those performing the bowing (Rukoo’) and prostration
(Sujood). The prayer was a custom which existed in our ancestral prophets too. Prophet (PBH) had attained the capacity to
lead the prayer even before the five obligatory prayers.
It
is evident from some Hadith that Prophet (PBH) landed in certain famous places
like Madyan, Madeena, The Sinai Mountain, Baith Lahem and preformed prayers
according to the instruction of his guide. Jibril (A), the guide, had the
knowledge about every historically significant place. So, he explained the Prophet
(PBH) the picture of all landmarks lying in the midst of holy Quds and Makkha since
the pre-historical age.
It
was to make the Prophet (PBH) indefatigable and unflinching in the field of his
propagation that they explore through these past memories. Madyan had to say the
Prophet (PBH) the poignant story of Shu’aib (A) and the hardship he had to bear
when he gave warning to his followers on the irregularities they made in their
measurements. It also reminds the Prophet
(PBH) the historical life of Prophet Moosa (A) who fled to Madyan. Their histories teach Prophet (PBH) how to
face the adverse situation.
However,
Isra’ was a study tour full of experiments and experiences. The major parts of Makki surats (The Quranic
verses revealed before the migration of the Prophet (PBH) to holy Madina)
revealed after Nubuvvath (prophecy) endued the old story of holy Makkah and
Quds. Most of them related with Ahlu-kithab(Jews and Christians). Besides, a visiting to holy Madina before his
coming emigration will prepare him to teach his followers in the guise of an
eye witness. This unique event motivates us to organize study tour to be an
experience.
The
Hadith, depicting the sacrificial history of a Prophet, can be read as follows:
this Hadith was narrated by Abdullah bin Mi’war (R). He said: while the Prophet
(PBH) explaining the incident of a Prophet among the Prophets of Allah being
beaten by his people and wiping the blood from his face, I felt it as I see
directly (Bukhari). Here, inspite of the Prophet (PBH) living in the seventh
era of A.D, he could see that Prophet even the blood flowed from his face.
When
a man travels the distance of a thousand light years at a second, it is only
then a ray emerged from earth before thousand years reaches there. It is
reached there conveying the scene of earth. If so, it may be only now that the
ray, which carried the wandering picture of Prophet Adam (A) and his wife Havva
(A), reaches some planets. If this like
of journey is possible, we can perceive the bygone era. It will not be a difficult
if we are endowed with the gift of more powerful eyes.
The
selection of holy Makkah and Quds for his blessed Isra indicates the significance
of both countries. It is thinkable that why Allah did not select the longest
peak
Himalaya
and selected the smallest
Thoor
Mountain
to send down Thorah. There is not a single word in Quran taking
oath with
Himalaya
. His blessed Isra was not from
Himalaya
, though the Indian soil had to say the
story of hundred decades. But the
Thoor
Mountain
is different from it. It witnessed to the assassination of
Zakariyya (A) and the futile attempt to crucify Isa (A). The decision to begin his blessed ascension from
this place adds beauty to
Middle
East
countries.
The Prophet’s blessed Isra was launched from the same plot from where Isa (A) was
raised to Heaven. It was really ironical to the launching of the outer space
vehicle which has been changing its launching pad at each and every launching.
It
was after traveling thorough the historical places of holy Makkah and Quds, the
Prophet (PBH) met with the heroes of those countries from the Al Aqsa Masjid. It
is to clear those doubts in the qualification of Prophet to witness to such a meeting,
the holy Quran answer: “Verily he is the all hearer, the all seer. According to some commentators the pronoun in
this verse (i.e. he) returns to the Prophet (PBH). It means that He showed his
slave the wonders of world because he is qualified for that. A part from the common people who forget the
places they visited with a short period, Prophet remembers all the places even
in a short span of time. In a nutshell, with
this momentary process called Al Isra, we could make out the fact of meeting
between the living people and deceased. It was common to Sheikh Jilani (R), as
written in the ‘peals of Muhyuddeen’ : The souls of virtuous people, angels and
Prophet, even the pure soul of our Prophet (PBH) would take part in his
spiritual classes. To clear the doubt how it is happened after their death, the
holy Quran itself proclaims “Or do those who earn evil deeds think that we
shall hold them equal with those who believe and do righteous good deeds, in
their present life and after their death? Worst is the judgment that they make
(Al- Jathiyah, 45:21).
As
the death and life of virtuous people are same, there is no impediment in this
conference. We can see another proof for the conference of virtuous people in
another holy verse. “Who so obey Allah
and the Messenger, then they will be in the company of those on whom Allah has bestowed
His grace, of the Prophets, the Siddiqun (those followers of the Prophets who
were first and foremost to believe in them), the martyrs, and the
righteous. And how excellent these
companions are! Sura: 4, An- Nisa 69).
It
is a trait of ‘Awliya’ and ‘Anbiya’ to appear in various places in addition to
their graveyard. The Prophet (PBH) has
been appearing at each micro seconds to the graves of many people, as many Prophets
presented in the Al Aqsa Masjid coming out of their tombs. It is evident from
one Hadith that when the believers returned after burying a person, two angels
come to his grave; they make him sit in his grave and ask him what he knows
about this person indicating to the Prophet (PBH). The sentence used in this Hadith is ‘What you
say about this person. The demonstrative pronoun (i.e. this) used in the Hadith
gives indication to the nearer one. The Hadith
indicates to the fact that where ever the two angles reach to question, at the
same time Prophet (PBH) also reached there. Even the believers who did not see
the Prophet ever, can identify him apart from the disbeliever. Everyone might
not be able to identify others from their own signs. As like, the wicked Faroa
and his relatives could not identify Moosa’s (A) mother, when she was called to
breed him. But Moosa (A) identified his mother and sucked the milk.
