Abubacker Sidheeque (May Allah Mercy upon him) was the trend of prophet from the child hood itself and he was also the first male who embraced Islam. Eminent companions of our beloved prophet (Peace and Blessing of Allah be upon him) including Uthman bin Affan(R) came to Islam by his effort. He bought and released seven slaves from slavery. 'Bilal Al-Muadhin' who had suffered a lot only for believing in Islam was one of them. Abubacker was called 'Sidheeque' since he believed in whatever prophet tolled him without showing any suspicion.

During the migration of the Messenger of Allah from his birth place to holy Madina, Abubacker(A) was the only one companion who went along with the prophet. Rasulullah (PBH) told Abubacker to take the charge of 'Imam' as he was unable to lead the Prayer because of his illness. As the news of prophet's demise spread, the comanions were panic. It was his historical speech of critical juncture that brought peace to the troubled minds of the companions of the Messenger of Almighty. Soon after the demise of our beloved Rasul(PBH) Abubacker was elected as the first caliph of Islamic Republic.

Primary tasks

In the sixth year of 'Hijra' prophet sent Haris (R) with a letter to the ruler of Basra . But Haris was killed by enemies of 'Mu'athath war' was had in 8 th Hijra. But it was not a complete success. So prophet prepared an army in the leadership of Usamah bin Zaid (R) to conduct another war. But before the departed of the army the illness of prophet got worse. The first task entrusted on Abubacker was to dispatch this army to its destination. The army brought a great victory.

After the death of prophet some tribes left Islam. Some other disagreed to disburse Zakath. Musailimahtul kaddhab and Thulaihathul Asad declared themselves as new prophet. A lady called Sajae also came with the claim of the prophethood. Abubacker (R) took courageous steps to face them. Those who left Islam came back to Islam and those who disagreed to supply Zakath started to give it. Musailimathil kaddhab was killed. Thulaihathul Asad returned to Islam. Sajae escaped to her own country Algiers .

Main tasks

In the war against Murthadds (One who broken the chain of Islam and gone out) several Qur'an by hearted companions were killed Then the existence of Qur'an was threatened. So Abubacker (R) ordered to record all Qur'an verses in a single volume. This work was done by 'Zaid bin Sabith' the 'message' writer of prophet(PBH).

Persia and Rome were two powerful kingdoms in the neighborhood of Arabia . Abubacker dispatched an army in the leadership of khalid bin valid(R) to Iraq which was under Persia .

They conquered several parts of Iraq . Four batches of army were sent to sham( Syria ) which was under the Roman empire . They fought against the Roman army at Yermuk. As the war went on Roman army could not be defeated. At this time, the army under Khalid bin valid(R) reached Sham and he took the leadership of whole army. Thus Sham came under the control of Muslims. In thirteenth year of Hijra, on 21st Jamadul Akhir Sidheeque (R) passed away after a fever which lasted for 15 days. He was buried near the holy tomb of prophet (PBH). Umer Al- Farooque (R) was elected as the next Caliph of Islamic Rebublic before the death of Abubacker (R)
