Belief in Allah

Existence of two powers (behind the creation of the universe) is against the law of nature. When there are two or more powers, one power may be equal to the other. Here both the powers lose their perfection or matchlessness. It is a deficiency. Anything deficient or imperfect cannot be worshipped. Worship is the humblest devotion. The power which accepts that much humble devotion and worship should be perfect and devoid of deficiency. To worship anything imperfect is against the law of nature. Then what do we submit to the perfect? If we have to devote anything to the imperfect or deficient, only give its own due considering all its deficiencies into account. The perfect one should be the sole, supreme and the worshipped. This is the law of nature.

 

'Shirk' (belief in various Gods) Which stands opposite to 'Thowhîd' (belief in the oneness of God), the foundation stone of Islam, is against the law of nature and against the intelligence. From the first chapter we have understood whether atheism agrees with our intelligence or the law of nature. The sole and sovereign creator of the universe is called 'Allah' He has neither a beginning nor an end. He is not under the control of time. He needn't any space. He depends on none, but everyone depends on him. He is not a born or doesn't bear. He has neither a wife nor a companion. Nothing remains equal to him. No power controls or overtakes him. He creates and cares everything. He destroys the thing he intended either partly or completely. He can never be questioned. He bestows whatever to those he intended in an unlimited way.

Allah protects both those who obey him and those who disobey him. He manages and controls all. He is the one who punishes. He is not the protector of any particular caste or tribe alone. He rules the whole universe. Both the river Ganga in India and the river Colorado in America are his creations. Both of them flow and find their course under his control. Allah is the power that provides food, clothes and other needed things to all including Muslims, idol worshippers and atheists. It is he himself who tests and punishes them all. It is he who feeds the murderers of Muslims, including Bush, Sharon and Narendra Modi. Food to both the prophet and his arch enemy 'Abu Jahl' was under his control. Either Bush or his idols have no sort of control in his life, food or drinks. Even when a lot of Muslims are killed by Bush, no Muslim believes that bush's idols are behind these cruelties. Advani, Modi or Thackaray never gets support from their idols to work against Allah because there exists no God but Allah. If Bush is defeated in the battle between he and Muslims, he may conclude that his 'idol God' has been defeated by Allah. Advani, Modi and Thackarey too may think the same of their gods. But that is not right. Those idols or man made Gods have not failed, because there never happens such a fight.


Thus Allah brings victories and failures. None succeeds or fails without his will. When the worship is tribalized or communalized or even localized that power doesn't have to mind those outside his limit. People other than his own worshippers are outsiders to him. He thinks of giving protection to his own worshippers from the attacks of other communities. Really, those, who have communalized their gods, must never fail in any of their matters. But often we see they fail. Therefore, such Gods are not real or true gods. There is no relevance or proof for that faith which is actually a mere illusion or superstition. The only worshipped to be is the God or the creator of all classes of people. When one community defeats the other we have to conclude that Allah, through one community, put in to practice his purpose with the other community. Allah never fails. It is his will that exists and succeeds. He never likes or be pleased with the activities of the torturers. Likes and wills are different.


When we talk of the reason behind the creation of the universe, there emerges a principle ie a communication should be there between the creator and the creatures. A certain order, exactness and perfection can be seen in his deeds and creations. If the creatures do not understand about that order and arrangement it will be a great loss. They have been provided with intelligence and so they should gather at least a minimum knowledge about those perfect arrangements. There should happen a sort of sharing of this knowledge even among the living beings with inferior intelligence and the lifeless objects according to the above said theories.


Man has been provided with sensibility and intelligence. Therefore, unlike other animals and lifeless objects, a wider kind of sharing should take place among human beings. Islam puts forward a communication system between the creator and the creatures, firstly the message of the creator, secondly the messengers (prophets) who were brought up equipped to receive those messages. Thirdly, the belief in the angels who are involved in many works including running errands between the prophets and the creator. Besides believing in the sole and sovereign Allah, a Muslim should believe in His angels, holy books and prophets. Had there been no such a communication between man and his creator, there would not have been holy books or prophets or angels like Jibrîl (Gabriel). An utter silence. No connection between the creator and the creatures. The things never should be so. Man has intelligence. He will learn if he is taught.


He is able to grasp. But there is none to teach, there is none to say a word. Imagine the passage of ages in a state of this sort of nothingness. The creator won't do that because it is he himself gave us the capacity to think. Only when he communicates with his creatures or delivers messages to them, we can say that their intelligence has been taken in to consideration. Yes. He has it good and enough. He has sent down one hundred minor scriptures and four major scriptures as a means to rouse human intelligence. About 1,40,000 prophets have been assigned to receive and exchange His messages both in recorded and non recorded forms. By doing all these, the creator has duly considered our intelligence and power to discriminate.


The whole universe exists on the theory of gravitation. Earth depends on the sun and the moon. Same is the state of all molecules. As time passes we see different correlated objects move, shake or scatter away losing their previous structures due to the transformation or evolution in their molecules. It is a fact that the connected things will separate themselves later. The possibility to connect corresponds with the possibility to disconnect. It points to the presence of two things. It can not be avoided. If oxygen is ready to correlate, that means it is ready to co-operate with hydrogen without changing itself in to the structure of hydrogen.


According to this theory, the universe will change its present form, structure and character. Negative will separate from positive. Hydrogen may separate itself from oxygen what we see as water today may convert itself in to something other than water tomorrow. The process will not be there, if positive is disintegrated from negative.


This state indicates the end of the world or the dooms day or the day of judgment. Certainly a massive separation and disintegration between objects will happen once.


The separation mentioned above is not like the occasional separation of any one or two components of some matters in the universe. Man does not die even though his nail is removed from his body. Ejaculation or following out of semen does not kill a man. Mango tree doesn't die or dry even when its leaves or fruits fall down. A mass disintegration is entirely different. Yes, the power which created everything out of nothingness is responsible for this major disintegration of matters. It is at his command that Israfîl (A) one of the arch angels, blows off the 'Sur horn' and hence of demolition the whole universe. In the storm caused by the blow everything integrated is disintegrated.


The sixth theory of Islam is to believe that good and bad are from Allah. We have realized that there is only one power behind the universe. If so, we have to believe that it is he himself responsible for every movement in the universe. There is no any other force which can claim its responsibility. All other powers are only the creations of this super power. We see good and bad even in that force. Who is responsible?


In short, those who believe in the theory of Thowhîd have also to believe in the related things which agree with it. If you admit the sole nature of Allah, you cannot separate the responsibility of good and bad from Him. It is contradictory to do so. If we argue that the creator of everything good and bad is not Allah, it will lead to many wrong notions. It is a joke to let the creator rest after the creation and let a conspiring wing to do all the matters for him.


In short, those who believe in Thowhîd (the oneness of the Almighty) have to arrange their faith in everything, good and bad in accordance with that Thowhîd belief. To believe in oneness of the God and to separate the creatorship of good and bad from that original creator at the same time are contradictory. If you reject the belongingness of all good and bad things to the creator that means you decide to leave the creator to rest after the major creations and let some conspirators control the situations. Do you think so? When humans experience anything good or bad they do not have to be arrogant or disappointed. Because when he realizes the fact that it is the almighty who plays behind all his success, he becomes more polite and humble. At the time of a setback resulting from something evil, the realization of the divine power behind all gives him peace. A persons who think that the power which dropped evil upon him is able to withdraw that evil, nears him to that power. If he believes that evil is not from Allah, there arises such a confusion that which power he has to approach to get rid of it. Whom will the survivors of an earthquake pray to for saving them from the damages and sufferings? Will the creator say that he is not responsible for the earthquake when he is prayed to? When the earth shakes again and again whom should the quake hit people pray to? Should they keep a mum without prayers or worships? In Islam, there is no such a situation in which prayers are blocked without a centre to pray to! Such a block appears only when we reject the creator. Such a situation is shameful for a religion.


So whenever a person suffers a setback he has to firmly believe that the creator of the universe gives it. 'He' himself is the power to be requested for this to be withdrawn. That faith is called 'hope'. Like that one who has been addicted to bad habits too should not despair. He must understand that the creator is responsible for this, and the same creator himself has to be approached for this to be solved. He must wait and pray for that. It is not a free ticket to sleep into bad habits, but a solution in case of evil addicts. Evil addicts are not informed in advance about the decision of the creator. A man does not refuse to go to the ration retail shop saying that his share of rice or wheat will reach his stomach. He doesn't know about the decision of the creator in advance. So he goes to the ration shop. Same is the case with the prayer and fast. The man who loses a week's share of his rice because of his laziness will be blamed for his laziness though he may justify his act by saying that it is God's own decision that worked here. People may find fault with his sloth and may reject to sympathize with him. Like that, those who refuse to go to mosque too may be charged with it as a crime. He can't justify himself by misinterpreting his fault. He has to regret and to be alert hereafter. Same has to be followed by the evil addicts. At the same time he has to keep his faith in fate (the creator's decision) alive. Then only he can pray for protection from all evils. So, to believe that all good and bad are from Allah is not keeping the person exonerated, but charging and making him regretful. It persuades him to pray for protection from ill fate and evils. God does not inform him of His decision in advance. So lazy men are to be blamed. If he had been informed of it earlier, what would have been his mental condition? His present mental state would be entirely different from the earlier condition. Both are evidently different. That different shows the fact that when a person commits a crime, he is responsible for it and has to be punished. Let Allah guard us from all sins! Let it be so!
