Faith: The Foundation of Nature Religion
img_article A thing which has a tendency to mate with or share with always bears some deficiency with it. Anything without that tendency would be perfect. When we study any object in the universe, our enquiry reaches the basic elements of that object. Each element has the tendency to share.
One element is ready to mate with the other. Oxygen mates with hydrogen to form water. Both positive and negative share the existence of light. That means both of them are not perfect or say, both do have certain deficiencies. If the basic substances have some deficiencies, the object formed with those substances certainly will possess some of those deficiencies.

A component is any of the parts with which something is made. All elements can be connected to one another. So, they are components. Therefore, they have deformities. Connection is possible only when the components match with or remain equal. That means, to a certain extend, the existence of one equal object degrades the other. The second degrades the first or vice versa. Highest rank means the unparalleled state. Hydrogen is not at the highest rank, because it alone can't make water. It needs the support of oxygen. So, in that respect, both are equal. But neither oxygen nor hydrogen can be considered perfect.

A careful analysis makes us understand that all creatures do have a lot of short comings or deficiencies. So, how can we worship them? When such creatures undergo evolution, we will realize the presence of a supreme power behind the existence of all creations. All creatures depend on that supreme power. Unless it discards all sharing, that power can not be called faultless.

Islam speaks about that unparalleled background power which does not need not any sort of support. That unequalled condition is called singleness. The supreme power behind the universe is single and independent. This is the belief called 'Thowhîd' one of the basic beliefs of Islam. Besides believing in the singularity and supremacy power of Allah the Most High, a Muslim has to believe in five more very important matters.
In total, they are six.
(1) To believe in Allah
(2) The angels
(3) The scriptures
(4) The holy messengers
(5) The day of judgment
(6) And the Destiny
